Assisted Living Services
What is Assisted Living ?
A community-based housing option for people who need assistance with daily tasks but not intensive nursing care. It offers meals, personal care and other services.
Housing: Residents usually live in their own apartment or room and share common areas.
Services: Includes assistance with personal care, medication, housekeeping and laundry.
Supervision: Around the clock supervision, security and onsite staff.
Emergency Care: Speak to your provider for more information on this.
Who is it for
Assisted living is mainly for older adults or disabled people who need help with daily tasks, but not as much as a nursing home.
Licensing: Assisted Living facilities are licensed by states in the US.
Costs: Speak to providers and compare prices. We can put you in touch with a number of providers so that you can make an informed choice. Assisted living is more expensive than living independently but less expensive than a nursing home.
Medicare and Medicaid: Medicare does not pay for assisted living but Medicaid may provide coverage for some aspects of assisted living.
